Sky's dedicated team will make sure you get the communal TV solutions that suit your needs. Most blocks of flats are best suited to one of two systems: Integrated Reception System (IRS) and Shared Dish.

IRS (Integrated Reception System)

IRS is a great way of distributing digital TV to lots of flats at once, through a single satellite dish.

  • It's a complete solution for your flats, providing digital satellite TV, digital terrestrial TV and digital radio
  • It can be wired for all the latest innovations, such as Sky HD and Sky+
  • It gives excellent reception and the full range of entertainment and interactive services

Shared Dish

This is Sky's latest communal TV system for blocks that have fewer than 49 flats and no more than 3 storeys.

  • As long as just 4 flats subscribe to Sky TV, we will provide standard installation and equipment for free (subject to survey)
  • It's the cost-effective and hassle-free way to get Sky TV
  • It can be wired so that residents can choose Sky+ and Sky HD

Shared Dish: Shared dish is suitable for blocks of flats with up to 48 subscribers. A minimum of 4 households must agree to subscribe to Sky digital to receive a free shared dish. Installation is subject to survey of your block. There will be a one-off cost for you, the Managing Agent, for the bonding of the Shared Dish equipment to an earth connection by a qualified electrician of your choice. Further terms apply.
