August Monthly Round Up

Showcasing Sky Q

It’s been a busy few months for Sky, we’ve been working with our partners to keep up with customer demand for Sky Q – the feedback has been fantastic and we’re looking forward to installing Sky Q in more properties across the country so people can see for themselves what a difference Sky Q really makes.

We’ve also been out and about meeting customers and potential customers at conferences and events across the country.

In May we were at the Institute of Residential Property Managers (IRPM) Annual London Seminar. The event was held the Royal Institute of British Architects and welcomed 400 IRPM members and guests. Sanjay Sudra, one of our Regional Sales Managers, gave a fascinating presentation outlining the benefits of Sky Q enhancement and explained just how easy it is to upgrade a communal system to Sky Q.

In June we took our fantastic Sky Q interactive stand to Manchester for the Chartered Institute of Housing’s conference ‘CIH 2016’. This event was a phenomenal success for us. Nick Mason, Sky Business Development Manager and Sanjay met hundreds of delegates and introduced them to Sky Q. We were also able to give demos to anyone who wanted to try Sky Q and see its amazing features.

We’re looking forward to speaking about Sky Q at the HBF National Utility Conference on 28th September. Jill Kite and Thor Vidal will be taking to the podium at this event, their presentation will include footage of Chris Collinson, Sky’s Sales and Marketing Director, explaining why working with developers is so important to Sky.

October brings UK Construction Week to the NEC in Birmingham. We have been working hard with the House Builders Federation and ITN on ‘Foundations for the Future’, a news-style programme, hosted by Natasha Kaplinsky. The programme will explore the state of the home building industry today and will launch at the Build Show on 18th October. In case you can’t make it to UKCW we will share a link to the film.

It’s really important for all of us at Sky to meet the people with whom we do business. Events and conferences give us the perfect platform to do this and to showcase the relationship we have with developers. It’s also great for us to be able to demonstrate Sky Q and to see how amazed people are when they get to try our most advanced TV experience ever.

So, if you’re at an industry event, keep your eyes peeled for the Sky stand and come and see just how amazing Sky Q really is.
